Marketplace and SaaS for learner drivers and driving instructors. A self started “side hustle” conceptualised, designed and built from the ground up. Over the course of the project I’ve designed everything from the branding, UX and UI for mobile apps, SaaS and front end website.
Learner was an idea I had back in 2015, when a friend decided to start training to become a driving instructor. I was amazed at the costs involved in franchising but also understood the difficulties of self promotion and digital marketing solo instructors and start up schools face and saw the gap for a marketplace. The idea was to be a mobile app first “Uber for driving instructors”.
It started with a proof of concept that I quickly validated which was a simple google scraper and front end website. It became something I incrementally developed over time until allocating some time to develop it at the end 2018 beginning of 2019 during the down time after selling my last company. After building the marketplace and spending time understanding the market, I decided to reverse build back from SaaS. The development took some time but now it’s ready and live to the world.
